We are seeking a professional educator with a successful track record teaching English and Social Studies, or Humanities, in grades 6 – 8. Experience working with an EAL population and the ability to coach a major sport are preferred.
Applicants must have at least 2-3 years of previous teaching experience in the pertinent subject area/discipline, preferably at an international school. Teaching certification is required. Applicants must furnish evidence of:
Teaching license including specialism
Documented record of excellence in teaching
BA / BSC or equivalent university degree
Understanding of Middle School philosophy and best practice
Integration of technology into curriculum
Learner-centered focus
Inquiry based pedagogical approach
Commitment to ongoing professional development
Ability to differentiate for diverse learning needs
Experience using data to guide teaching and learning
Teamwork, collaboration, and active participation in school life
